KAGUM's Birth Story

At 30, trapped in a cycle of misery and exhaustion, I bravely left my medical career behind and dove into the unknown, seeking my purpose and true self.

Embracing the universe's flow, I discovered my bohemian spirit—a spirit suffocated by the confinements of societal “shoulds” and “should nots”. This realization propelled me on a journey of exploration marked by anxiety and despair, until I found solace in jewellery making.

It was here, amidst the creation of my own designs, that peace found me, and vivid dreams of colors, patterns, and places affirmed my path. From this journey, KAGUM was born.

KAGUM's Everyday Story

KAGUM, meaning ‘awe’ in Malay, is a celebration of The Self. It's a tribute to the untapped potential and beautiful contradictions within us all.

My designs, rich in contrasting elements, aim to highlight the inherent magnificence in each individual. They resonate with other bohemian spirits, evolving with each collection and colour palette, encapsulating the essence of urban mystique.

KAGUM is designed for those who carry the universe within them, those special ones who infuse magic into the mundane, and those with larger-than-life souls.
